Report Acceptance and Escalation

The review and acknowledgment of clinical and diagnostic reports produced by services such as the diagnostic laboratory and radiology department is critical in the patient care process. If this step is missed or overlooked, patient diagnosis is delayed which in turn delays treatment and can significantly decrease the safety of patients.

Eclair has a three-fold solution to enhance patient safety by:

 
a) Providing instant electronic delivery of reports to the right clinical teams

b) Providing the tools to search for assigned reports and to electronically accept /sign them off

c) Escalating the report if it has not been signed off within an acceptable timeframe
